In order to actually implement her design I found out about <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Web\/CSS\/CSS_Scroll_Snap\/Basic_concepts\">CSS scroll-snapping<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Web\/CSS\/Nesting_selector\">nested selector<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latter has reached <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Glossary\/Baseline\/Compatibility\">Baseline<\/a> status in December 2023, so it makes sense that I didn&#8217;t know about it yet!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our designer is building her personal portfolio website, and she&#8217;s way less conservative than me with her layouts.
